Text message balance alerts are FREE when you sign up for e-statements or have a photo debit card (both "Photo ID" and "My Pic" debit cards qualify)!

  • A cell phone plan with text message capabilities.
  • Enroll your accounts to receive FREE e-statements OR have a photo debit card OR pay $2/month for text alerts.

By completing this application to receive text message alerts from Clear Lake Bank & Trust Company, I agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • I understand that one (1) text message will be sent for EACH account that I request a balance for each day and time selected. This can result in multiple text message alerts.
  • I understand that cell phone carrier text message rates may apply and I will not hold Clear Lake Bank & Trust Company liable for any text message charges.
  • I understand that when I travel outside of the United States, my carrier may assess additional text message charges, and I am responsible for these charges.
  • I am responsible for notifying Clear Lake Bank & Trust Company of any changes to my cell phone carrier and/or cell phone number.
  • I am responsible for notifying Clear Lake Bank & Trust Company if my cell phone is lost or stolen.
  • I am responsible for adding, changing, and/or deleting my text message alerts by completing the online form provided by Clear Lake Bank & Trust Company when there is an account ownership change.
  • I understand that the bank schedules its systems for routine maintenance & updates, and during these maintenance and update periods, text message alerts may be delayed. Under normal conditions, I understand that my text message alerts will arrive usually within 15 minutes of my selected schedule.

Section 326 of the USA PATRIOT ACT requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account or changes an existing account. This federal requirement applies to all new customers and current customers. This information is used to assist the United States government in the fight against the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities.

What this means to you: when you open an account or change an existing account, we will ask each person for their name, physical address, mailing address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify them. We will ask to see each personís driverís license and other identifying documents and copy or record information from each of them.
